Oreo Cheesecake Cookies

These cookies are one of the greatest things I have ever tasted. I found the original recipe on This Blog I've decided to share it here because if you love oreos then this is a recipe you HAVE to try :)

Oreo Cheesecake Cookies
Recipe from Brown Eyed Baker, adapted from Tasty Kitchen, originally from Multiply Delicious

Yield: About 1 dozen cookies (mine made about 1 1/2 dozen, as I used around 1 inch balls of dough)

½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
3 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup mini chocolate chips (I didn't have minis so I left these out)
1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (this is important! I was out of parchment and my cookies got a little overcooked on the bottom, I think the Oreo crumbs cooked quickly on the hot baking sheet and caused this) and set aside.

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese on medium speed until smooth and well-combined.

3. Add the sugar and vanilla extract and mix until the ingredients are well-combined. Add the flour and mix on low until the flour is incorporated. Stir in the mini chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.

4. Place the Oreo cookie crumbs in a small bowl. Scoop the cookies into about 1½ to 2″ balls (the dough will be soft, don' t worry if it doesn't scoop into a well-formed ball, the crumbs will help hold it together)and then roll in the cookie crumbs. Place the cookie balls on the baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the tops are slightly puffed.

5. Cool on the pan for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
Enjoy!

I have a feeling that I am going to love your blog (minus the sweat part) haha, I don't do any of that :). However, everything else looks AWESOME!! Thanks for the great recipe!

    1. I'm glad I could supply the recipe :) If you like those two flavors then you probably will fall in love with the cookies. See I don't like cheesecake at all and I think the cookies are ridiculously delicious.

    1. Thanks! They are pretty good. But if you don't like oreos then you may not like the cookies only because they have HUGE chunks of oreos in them. However, I don't like cheesecake but I like these. So I guess you'd have to try them to see if you really would like them.

    1. You must! They are certainly one of the best cookies you will ever try! But be careful because the first time I made this recipe I didn't have parchment paper and I burnt the bottom of the cookies :/ Its can be somewhat hard to tell when the cookies are done. Just know that the edges will be somewhat golden-brown.

    1. I am too! i'm terrible at cooking and baking. which is weird given that my blog is mainly about those two topics. I will only post stuff that is easy to do for that reason! My boyfriend was the one who showed me the recipe because he loves oreos and cheesecake. Anyways the first time we made them, we forgot to add flour :P So all you have to do is try it and hope like heck you don't mess it up (or forget a main ingredient...) :)
